Who wear the Trousers

Trousers styles for 2012
Jump on board this season's block colour trend with a pair of vibrant trousers, as seen on the summer catwalks and stylish celebrities alike. Must be said that wide-leg trousers are not for everyone. It’s for that reason that they’ve never been the dominant style to conquer the streets and, while we count them among 2011′s fashion trends, we don’t expect their lack of mass popularity change in a hurry.
Skinnies have a long life left in them yet; but this is a year in which flares are on-trend, and wide leg trousers are there alongside them. But while the wide-leg may not become your new wardrobe staple just yet, don’t overlook it as an elegant, stylish addition to your 2011 repertoire, particularly when styled right. Juicy, mouth-watering tangerine capri pants in the MaxMara spring/summer collection. coloured jeans give a great edge to an outfit. Here are four of the best on the high street.
Red is a sexy, alluring and seductive colour and doesn't tend to reveal lumps and bumps the way white would. Distressed jeans are edgy and trendy but the colour pop makes these ones look even more appealing. Team with lots of colourful vests and t-shirts. Wide cropped trousers, this is the shape of trousers many women try to avoid thinking those will look really unflattering.
However, if styled well such trousers can look fantastic. There are various options at the moment and additionally, skinny jeans have been inducted into "classic" status by now. They've been manufactured and worn for such a very long time and adapted to fit with such an enormous variety of styles and sizes they're here to stay.

For Men the cropped or rolled trouser leg is a great half measure for the man who wants to acknowledge and take advantage of the finer weather without resorting to shorts. It's casual and relaxed. The Casual trousers are worn by all men all day and every day the whole year. Casual trousers are a wide variety of different types, styles, cuts and materials. Each type of style of trouser gives a unique look and style, but all of them can suit any types of clothes and can look great.

Get Warm with Knitwear

Knitwear for Men 2011/12
Missoni is pretty much king when it comes to all things knitted. This collection was a triumph in wool. Take a leaf from the Missoni book and experiment with patterns and textures. A good cardigan and some skinny jeans will always be on trend in the colder months.
This season however, knitwear takes a different form. Since winter's not yet over, anyone looking to update their wardrobe might want some great advice about the trends which are a hit in men's knitwear. This Autumn/Winter 2011 season designer knitwear is a highly sought after commodity, offering practicality and style is equal measure.
Continuing on from one of the year’s biggest trends in menswear, varsity cardigans are popping up across the high street, knitted roll neck jumpers and herringbone knits are also popular this autumn and winter. The Turtle neck or roll neck trend was popping up a bit last year but it seems to be appearing a little more regularly in look books and fashion shows this Autumn.
It makes a sensible alternative to the standard knitwear, shirts or t-shirts, roll necks can add something a little different to your look this autumn, bringing out a classic or vintage 50′s style.  The variation in roll or turtle necks is quite simple; you get thick ones and thin ones. The thin ones, which are made from fine-gauge merino wool, can look good worn under a suit in the evening.
Chunky roll necks, however, give that deep winter feel, when the cold does set in; you can combine them with parkas, duffles and many other big winter coats. One way to sport knitwear during the cold months is to layer a cardigan, over a simple jersey top and wear under a puffa jacket with jeans and your favourite trainers for a casual look. So experiment with patterns and textures when choosing knitwear.
