Shock of colour

Colour trend A/W 2011-12
For colder seasons designers normally prefer using neutral or reserved colours like black, brown, navy, cream, dark violet, etc. However, the  Autumn/ Winter 2011/ 2012 colour trend collections abound in brighter hues like crimson, neon orange, purple, sky blue and others. Besides, these eye-popping tones can come in daring combinations.
See Haider Ackermann, Alberta Ferretti, Victoria Beckham, Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry Prorsum, and other designers and brands for inspiration. Colour bright’s supply the party with an eye-catching pick-up this A/W 2011-12 and provide the perfect base for your wardrobe. Inspired by the glow sticks and Happy Faces of the Nineties rave scene, this season's bright colour palette is paired with ladylike silhouettes to give the look a grown-up, modern twist.
From the cool icy tones to the deepest royal blue tones it was the colour of choice for this season. The colour block is back but with all tone, giving that flash of all embraced various shades of this colour rich colours - mustard, deep purple, and jade were seen all over the runways.  For Jil Sander, yellow becomes so contemporary, modern and updated, ideal for the East coast career woman, who is roughly anchored in the corporate lifestyle, but still manages to keep her femininity.
The A/W 2011 trend was acid colours: lively, explosive and full of life, being a constant reminder that fashion can be a fun and joyful experience. But now that autumn is ringing at the entrance door, you really don’t have to leave your favorite yellow skirt in the closet, hoping for a revival of the trend in 2012, because the designers have decided that lemon yellow, is so IN!
From the rock’n’roll jackets with big shoulder pads proposed by D&G, to the printed leggings or the aggressive- woman type of dresses, yellow seems to be highly appreciated by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. But it follows to all other clohes, knitwear and trousers, so don't be afraid to glow this Autumn.
